Apartment Mercalli is located on charming property in the lovely little fishing village of Atrani, which is about 400 meters along the coast from Amalfi.
Atrani's layout is typical of the area: the houses are connected by a maze of various stairs and pathways and the village center is its picturesque "Piazzetta", one of the most popular meeting points every evening for young and old with its cafes and restaurants.
From the "Piazzetta" you can reach the beach.
During summer Atrani is the center of many events and festivities; the highlight of these festivities is the patron feast which is celebrated with a spectacular fireworks display as well as the famous underwater fireworks that Atrani is known for.
Atrani is also famous for its wonderful restaurants where you will find some of the best seafood dishes in the Amalfi area.
The apartment is in a comfortable location, about 60 steps from the main road and only 100 meters from the beach and the piazza.
You do not need a car as you can board the local bus that will take you to any of the neighbouring villages.
Parking can quite complicated.
The apartment is completely restored and consists of two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two single beds.
In the living-dining room there is a comfortable sofa bed that sleeps an extra person.
There are two bathrooms.
The kitchen is quite small but fully equipped and very charming.
The lovely terrace has stunning views of Atrani and the coast, and you have access to it from both bedrooms and the living room.
