** 3 Night Minimum Stay - all year round ** Apartment Paola is a beautiful and spacious studio apartment in Positano with a spacious terrace overlooking the sea, with stunning views over Positano, Capri, the Li Galli islands, the Gulf and coastline. The apartment is half way between Positano and Praiano.

The property is located by the principle road which links Positano with the rest of the Amalfi Coast. Apartment Paola is thus a great base for excursions throughout the magnificent region, Pompei, Capri, Sorrento, Amalfi, Ravello and all the Coast. Positano is considered the Pearl of the Amalfi Coast, it's also called Citta Romantica (Romantic Town), known for its particular atmosphere and the charm of its inhabitants.

The apartment has a private pathway down to the waterfront where there is a natural rock platform, perfect for sunbathing, as well as a convenient ladder to climb into the water. (Access, however, is by about 560 steps down - quite a rigorous hike.) Yet, there are, of course, many beaches with easy access very close by, both in Positano and in the direction of Praiano. Not far from the apartment is the beach of Laurito, also around 500 steps down, however, this is a beach (with two restaurants) that offers a boat service into Positano at no charge, from where you catch the bus back to Apartment Paola, a wonderful adventure!

Within walking distance (10 mins) of Apartment Paola you will find what is undeniably the best restaurant in Positano, La Taverna del Leone.

One of the most important things to mention about this property is that there is free private parking, very rare in Positano! Another very positive aspect of Apartment Paola is that the two wonderful hosts live next door and you will be very well looked after by Paola and Ed who speak English and are always available to give their clients useful information during their stay. Although the apartment itself does not have a washing machine or internet access, your hosts can arrange for you to use these amenities in their own home.

The studio comprises a spacious 40 square meter room with queen bed that can separate into two twin beds, there is also an extra single bed, a dining table and chairs and a hidden kitchenette with fridge, 2 burner stove and sink. The studio has all the amenities you need to create a home away from home, with satellite TV, CD and DVD player, as well as VHS player. There is also air conditioning, central heating and a modern, spacious en-suite bathroom with shower.

Shopping from the grocery store outside of Positano can be ordered over the telephone and delivered (you may need your hosts' assitance.)
